an eager individual

“I hope you find someone who is brave enough to enter your storm, and respects you enough to love the size of your waves. I hope you find someone who will relish the calm you can have, and who is eager to set sail on the expanse of your mind. I hope you find someone that can’t escape the love they have for you, because now they have you in their very blood, always reminding them that you are the only sea worth exploring.”

T.B. LaBerge // Unwritten Letters to You

Love is a beautiful symbol of depth, growth, selflessness and many more attributes. I have learned recently about communication and how important it is to let people you care and love how much you mean to them, however, when that isn’t reciprocated or bluntly ignored. Sometimes, the best thing you can do in that situation is pray for rich blessings for them and let go and Let God. It certainly eases the bricks on your shoulder and the countless “what-ifs” but it also helps you grow and trust in God more fully. I have also learned that you “choose” how you care and love someone after the butterflies and shallow emotions subside. You choose and is it worth it?

Never regret the individuals who have been in your life temporarily for they have also (like the permanent people in our life) molded who you are today. I am so proud to say I am where I am. I am independent, strong and face life’s struggles with my chin up and, hopefully, an attitude and response like Christ’s beautiful heart has for us.

I have no doubt God has a dear person for me who will make me appreciate love so much more, appreciate selflessness in such a genuine way, and to use my talents to serve Christ in everything I do. Most importantly, to understand and give thanks to Jesus in everything I do whether through trials or for joy. Comparing has always been a struggle to overcome for me, personally, and although “comparison” is present in my life. I choose to change my outlook and have absolute faith to know God is good, All the time. All the time, God is Good!
