As the bowling pins quickly began to make a rumble of noise, so did four brown eyes who had their eyes met and their only acquaintance was to say, “hello”. A few weeks later numbers were exchanged and over the weekend names were spoken and that is where God’s story began…
I cannot believe it. Who knew, who knew! C, thank you so much for being a breath of fresh air in my life, but also a candid reminder of being so gentle and kind in all you do. I could never imagine my life being so thrilling yet calm at the same time.
I have been single for so many years and learned to be on my own… for so many years. Aching for some man that will compliment me so well, aching to be loved, aching to not feel lonely. Most importantly, though, I ached to follow God’s will in spite of my selfish needs.
Thank you for getting me out of my comfort zone and learning to press forward and learn to aim for my goals. Thank you for being patient and during your times of miscommunication, thank you for taking your time to process it all and learn to listen.
Happy one month of being married, my dearest husband. I cannot wait until what else God has in store for us.
