It was when I was happiest that I longed most…The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing…to find the place where all the beauty came from. ||C.S. Lewis||
I have been saving this post on draft for a few months. Pondering on how to word this post in a graceful way.
Recently, I had a big change between my life, status of my job, and the continued guidance of prayer through these transitions.
I am very fond with imagery and this photo I found on Pexel definitely expresses my view on my current transition. A reflection of myself and how high of a pedestal I want to be, and how others opinion is.
Acceptance: Approval, worthy, desired, and loved.
Rejection: Disproved, unworthy, undesirable, and unloved.
I have definitely learned recently about the opposites towards acceptance and rejection. How a person can define you, or their actions towards you define who you are. Reality is.. who you are as a person is not defined on someone’s actions/behavior towards you, or someone’s opinion of you.
As a person, we are beautiful and lovely and those who truly love us will accept us for who we are, flaws and all. Yes, there are setbacks in life, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t a blessing. A blessing is to trust that when you are ready to go forward, it’ll be much better and brighter. Keep your chin up.
