Today I am thankful for my beautiful sister. A week ago from today she passed away suddenly and I am deeply saddened by her absence, but I am very  happy knowing her presence is in the arms of our Lord, our Heavenly Father. She is no longer chained with sin and tribulation.

Hello! Last week I had such a joy of experiencing my first winter in so many years. My first initial reaction was “Yup. I’m ready to move back to warmer weather.” My second reaction was “This is unacceptable and I need to wear warmer clothes because I don’t know how to handle this.” Third reaction “Suck it up! You made this decision.”

Oh my, my, MY GOODNESS.

This dear friend of mine.. Oh how richly blessed to look back and see how God works through me and my so called schedule in life. How easily he fits people in like a glove when you need it. Every Saturday morning I committed myself to attend a women’s Bible study and be surrounded in a room filled with beautiful ladies who are wise, genuine, raw, beautiful, have such insight and perspective.

a comforting stride

-The Voyage; Amanda Cook-
“Set your sights, sailing far beyond familiar.
In the rising tide, you’ll find the rhythm of your heart.

And lift your head, now the wind and waves don’t matter.”

This year has been so incredible for me! It has been filled with joys, appreciation and, most importantly, forgiveness. My heart aches and yearns for so many things, but I’m continually learning to to be closer and stronger in my faith. I pray 2016 will be a wonderful year full of God’s immense beauty in my heart, my mind, and my actions.

“To God Be the Glory!”

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” |Jeremiah 29:11|

-The Lord Bless You and Keep You; John Rutter-

I was on Spotify listening to John Rutter and this song came on. I was in the choir a year ago and I had such a privilege to sing this song. It is quite eloquent and majestic! John Rutter’s compositions are such a joy to listen and sing along to.

These beautiful words are from Numbers 6:24-26:
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord life up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

First of all, here are a few Bible verses to exclaim how richly blessed I truly am…

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. |Psalm 100:4-5|

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
|Psalm 52:2|

Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
|Psalm 106:1|

I’m also thankful for being able to go to church and praise the Lord’s glorious name, my amazing family, dearest friends, a roof over my head, food on my plate, a job where I use my gifts to help those who have autism and other developmental delays, a car that works, technology/social media where I can stay in touch to those who live miles away, and so many other things I cannot think of right now.

Oh, how blessed I am! God is so good.

“Come Ye thankful people come!”

an eager individual

“I hope you find someone who is brave enough to enter your storm, and respects you enough to love the size of your waves. I hope you find someone who will relish the calm you can have, and who is eager to set sail on the expanse of your mind. I hope you find someone that can’t escape the love they have for you, because now they have you in their very blood, always reminding them that you are the only sea worth exploring.”

“It’s a heart love affair with the world, I will not conform.”

I have been playing this album “The Home We Built” on repeat the past two weeks. It is an incredible album. I suggest you take a listen. 🙂

Happy Friday! This week I am thankful for trying times. Learning to strive and continually serve God’s will through the little wars I have on my heart or in my mind. This bible verse really tugs me to continually do the task I commit myself to do: To Serve and share His love on a daily basis.

|John 13:7|
Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now,
but afterward you will understand.”
Have a richly blessed weekend!
